Latest Progress and Direction of Space Sustainability Standards

This session is hosted by UK Space Agency. This ‘teaser’ session will provide an early look at the latest version of the two space sustainability standards developed by BSI and the UK Space Agency with support from industry, Flex 1969 - Space Sustainability Principles and Flex 1971 - Launch. This briefing will outline the purpose and content of the updates and allow time for questions and comments, ahead of their publication. Speakers will highlight the role these standards play in supporting sustainability, where further coordination or guidance may be needed, and how industry practice is evolving.
