Sovereign or Fast? Why Europe Cannot Have Both

Europe is in a race it did not choose. The threat timeline, late 2020s, early 2030s, is real, and the capabilities needed to meet it will take years to build if they are built in Europe, or months to acquire if they are bought from the United States. France's Space Minister has called for a Buy European Act. Germany is running dual-track procurement, buying American now while building European capability in parallel. The UK is increasing MOD spending with SMEs by 50% by 2028. Three major European nations, three different answers to the same question. This panel brings together government, agency and industry perspectives to explore these questions openly, in front of the commercial companies whose futures depend on the outcome. There is no consensus yet, which is exactly why this is one of the most important conversations in European space policy right now.
