NATO's Space Agenda: What Industry Needs to Know
NATO is moving from recognising space as an operational domain to building the structures, programmes and commercial relationships needed to support Alliance operations, but for industry, navigating how and where to engage can remain complex. This practical panel brings together senior voices from NATO Space, Allied national armaments directorates and industry to explore NATO's space ambitions, the key tenets of its Commercial Space Strategy, how space procurement integrates into DPAP and RAAP, and where national and NATO programmes align. It will examine who owns requirements, whether the customer is NATO or an individual Ally, what successful engagement looks like in practice, and how companies can move from demonstration to operational contract. For emerging and scaling businesses, it will also clarify the role of NATO mechanisms in providing investment, acceleration, validation and routes to contract.
