Thomas Dell

Thomas Dell is Head of Technology for the Space Cloud Services Business Unit at D?Orbit, where he leads the group technology roadmap to enable the delivery of advanced in?space computing, data logistics, and software?defined mission capabilities. Since joining D?Orbit in 2018, he has led flight software development for the ION spacecraft family, driven innovation in on?board AI/ML, and introduced modern software engineering practices across the organisation. Earlier in his career, he worked extensively in the motorsport industry, delivering high?performance embedded systems and control software into Formula 1 and other racing series.
