Steven Austin

Steven has a 40-year career working closely with the development and delivery of strategic technology within the Space sector, including with SAR instruments and propulsion systems. Working as part of Prime multi-national teams and within the supply chain for science and commercial applications has given him experience and understanding of the issues and pressures faced by large and small companies alike. He is currently developing roadmaps and operational capabilities to commercialise and scale-up advanced materials and manufacturing technology at TISICS for Space and Aerospace, civil and defence applications. He is the Chair of the UKspace Technology Development and Manufacturing Committee.
