Simon Tucker is the VP of Business Development at Satellite Vu an earth observation company specializing in providing new insights from satellites into our global challenges such as climate change and ocean plastic pollution as well as insights for business to make better commercial decisions. Satellite Vu intends to launch a small constellation of infrared satellites to monitor the temperature of every building on the planet in near real-time to determine valuable insights into economic activity, energy efficiency and carbon footprint. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Traded energy markets and has in joining Satellite Vu transitioned back to his first love the space industry. He has a deep understanding of commercial value and has been instrumental in the creation of multiple products during his career. He has held roles as VP Trading at SmartestEnergy Ltd -a next-generation energy company, Macquire Bank and Aquila Energy.
