Nancy Scott

Nancy Scott is Corporate Projects Director at Hoptroff, a timing technology company that delivers multi-layered resilient, traceable, and compliant time synchronisation solutions for critical sectors including financial services, data centres, government, to medical device organisations. She has built a diverse career spanning both the not-for-profit and private sectors. Nancy began her professional career in the not-for-profit space, working on programmes focused on social inclusion and economic regeneration. She later moved into the private sector, joining international management consultancies, starting at PWC where she advised boards on organisational design, corporate expansion, and market entry strategy. At Hoptroff, Nancy has been part of the start-up team, bringing together her expertise in regulation, compliance, and international growth with a strong passion for innovation. Her work centres on timing technologies within the wider Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) ecosystem, where she has global responsibilities including developing strategic partnerships to advance trusted timekeeping which is essential as the demand for real-time information accelerates, and regulatory scrutiny continues to increase to protect data provenance. She is also a member of the TechUK PNT Working Group. Alongside her professional role, Nancy is deeply committed to inclusion. She is a trustee of P3 Charity, a national organisation that provides essential services to vulnerable people across the UK.
