Mario Greco

Brigadier General (Ret.) of the Italian Army Mario Greco is Executive Director of Global Foresight Strategies - Europe and a senior executive specializing in strategic analysis, foresight, comparative assessment, defense planning, and global strategic competition. During several high-level assignments at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, he produced decision-support assessments for senior political and military leaders and contributed to Alliance defense policy, planning, and capability development. In 2022, he supported an unclassified U.S. Space Force working group conducting space-focused strategic foresight on security, capability development, and operational resilience. His current work supports international defense and security stakeholders, including innovative strategic planning initiatives related to Ukraine, Italian defense institutions, and senior military leaders, and examines how emerging and dual-use technologies can strengthen strategic decision-making and multidomain capabilities. A published author and international keynote speaker, he has contributed to major security and technology forums, including IBM and AFCEA SPADE 2025 and 2026.
