James Harding

James Harding is a Data Scientist at Telespazio UK, leading AI/ML delivery across primarily ESA-funded programmes spanning Earth Observation, climate services and positioning/navigation/timing. Previously, he led similar machine-learning work at Plymouth Marine Laboratory, supporting external research teams through NEODAAS with consultancy and code review services. With a civil and environmental engineering foundation and doctoral research experience at the University of Edinburgh focused on machine learning for Earth observation, James specialises in turning complex sensor and climate data into operational insight by combining deep learning, uncertainty-aware modelling and explainable AI.
