Chris Hall

Chris Hall has worked as an electrical engineer working with factory automation and on maintenance activities to improve reliability and throughput. He joined the civil service in 2004 working for the Ministry of Defence support a variety or equipment used on Royal Navy vessels, later working with the Army and Royal Air Force on GIS systems. With a passion for space Chris joined the UK Space Agency’s Earth Observation team in 2015 where he worked on supporting access to EO data with the European Space Agency, industry, and academia. In 2017 he took up his current role helping companies turn space powered business ideas into commercial reality, something he describes as “one of the most exciting jobs in the UK Space Agency.” (Ask him about buying peas from the supermarket).
