Anuj Ashar is the Founder and General Partner of Asteria Space, an early-stage venture capital firm backing the next generation of globally scalable space technology companies. At Asteria, he has brought together a team that reflects the industry itself, including astronauts, former NASA leaders, world-leading scientists and experienced operators, combining real flight experience, scientific depth and commercial judgement. As an aerospace engineer and a exited tech entrepreneur, Anuj has spent his career turning complex ideas into scalable businesses. Before launching Asteria, he worked closely with early-stage deep-tech founders across the UK and Europe, including as a specialist advisor to Innovate UK, where he supported companies in securing millions in non-dilutive and equity funding. Today, he focuses on investing at the earliest stages, supporting academic spin-outs, and helping build the companies that will shape the next phase of the space economy.
