Ammar Ali

Ammar Ali joined Inmarsat in January 2020 as a Senior Programme Manager and has since been promoted to Programme Director within Inmarsat’s Global Government (G2) Business. Ammar now provides programme management leadership across G2’s portfolio of strategic execution programmes and bids. Ammar also holds a leadership position in Team Athena, a national team in space formed by Serco, Inmarsat, CGI and Lockheed Martin UK. Prior to this, Ammar spent eight years at Northrop Grumman UK and held a number of project and programme management roles leading the delivery of complex hardware and software integrated solutions for the UK MOD and international governments. Ammar is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Project Management Professional and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
