Germany Capabilities Catalogue to Launch at Satellite Applications Catapult Stand

4 March | 15:00-16:00 | Stand F10

The Satellite Applications Catapult will officially showcase the upcoming Germany Capabilities Catalogue on March 4th, with a live demonstration taking place from 15:00 to 15:20 at Stand F10.

The session will be led by Ecosystem Insights Lead Patrick Stewart, who will present the soon-to-be-launched German space capabilities catalogue alongside colleagues from Space Wales and German partners. The live demonstration will provide attendees with an exclusive first look at the platform and its functionality.

The Germany Capabilities Catalogue has been developed to support the discovery of innovative solutions to emerging challenges across the space sector and beyond. Designed as a practical and accessible resource, the platform will help inform policy development, enable collaboration across borders, and serve as an educational tool for understanding the diverse capabilities within space technology and its real-world applications.

By bringing together industry expertise and international collaboration, the catalogue aims to strengthen connections between the UK and German space ecosystems while enhancing visibility of available technologies, services, and expertise.

Importantly, this initiative also demonstrates a scalable model that can be replicated internationally. The Satellite Applications Catapult has developed the catalogue framework to be adaptable for other national and regional ecosystems, enabling countries to map, showcase, and strategically grow their own space capabilities. By leveraging SAC’s proven methodology, digital infrastructure, and ecosystem expertise, governments and space agencies worldwide can create tailored capability catalogues that drive inward investment, foster cross-border partnerships, and accelerate sector development.

Following the demonstration, the Satellite Applications Catapult will host an on-stand networking session from 15:20 to 16:00. Attendees are invited to engage directly with the team, ask questions about the platform, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration in an informal setting over refreshments.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a place at the demonstration and make the most of this opportunity to connect with leaders in the space innovation community.
